For this project I designed a logo for a clothing brand called "Uppin hood". With their tag "From the hood, for the hood.", Uppin hood tries to share their vibe and mission in life. They strive to motivate the new generation to improve their knowledge and skill on any subject. I love it when young people approach me with fresh ideas and dreams for their new brands. It motivates me to hear their story and I try my best to make them even more passionate and motivated by translating their beautiful stories behind their brand into the designs.

Process       -    

When designing a new logo I usually start with sketching on paper. I find this helpful to get rough ideas out of my head as fast as possible. This allows me to sketch a lot of different ideas faster. When sketching digitally I tend to put more effort into smaller details which slows down the sketching process. But this time I switched over to digital sketching quite early in the process. because for the logo style i had in mind, I knew digital sketching would be more efficient.
