This book is about a well known director called ‘Romain Gavras. Throughout the years Romain Gavras received many positive, but also lots of negative comments to his often described as “controversial” work. This booklet contains a compilation of the negative Youtube comments he received throughout his career.

When making this book I tried to create a book that visually looks and represents the music videos that Romain Gavras has directed. His videos felt raw, heavy and very serious. That’s why the book looks hard, heavy and cold like metal, until you pick it up and it feels light and a little bit soft. That's because of the music from these videos, they are something you should enjoy.

The text inside are comments people left on the videos on YouTube. I highlighted the hate comments by making them bigger. The tiny text around it are all the other comments, positive, negative, different languages, all types of comments.
