Project - FAST FOOD

I found fast food packaging interesting because they are very iconic. Some fast food packaging is the same all over the world like the one used for burgers or fries. They are instantly recognizable. Of course this is due to well known fast food chains such as: McDonald's, Burger King and KFC etc. Such a simple little Package with only one function, of which millions are produced and used every day and then immediately thrown away. I wanted to see what would happen if I gave these packages a new look and put various objects in them. I only changed the material. The shape remained the same because it still had to be recognizable.
Process -
I added a fries box and a cup with it. I wanted the photos to look a little bit professional, as if they were made in a real studio. So I had to innovate and create a small home studio. My inspiration for these photos were still life paintings. I experimented with lights to add an extra surreal effect. Because I don't have professional lights at home I used my computer and laptop screens on the sides of the object, both shining a Different color. This way I managed to add strange colorful effects to the images.
